Older child session: Session 1 - Let's Play Adoption

Description

Calling all adoptees ages 7 years and older! We are now offering four classes on adoption for the older child. The first session will be Sunday, January 25, 2026 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Kathie Otte's house and will be as follows:

1. Session 1: Let’s Play Adoption

- Children will identify the people who are typically involved in an adoption.

- Discussion will focus on the feelings of the people involved.

- Children will then act out a play about adoption, and take turns in the various roles of the birth

mother, adoptive parents, social worker, etc.

Please RSVP by January 23, 2026. If your child has taken the class before, they are welcome to come back again. AFH family members are free, non-members are $5.00 per class.

Dont forget to RSVP for all four classes!
